I’m Jess - a thirty something, Melbourne based photographer, wife to my high-school sweetheart and ‘Mama’ to our children.
I’m a lover of the simple things in life.
Crafting, baking, fruit picking, basking in the sunshine on a warm day, getting lost in a novel and taking my children puddle hunting on a rainy day.
I find beauty in the chaos and the quiet; the everyday moments we often overlook as mundane.
There’s magic everywhere—we just need to learn how to see it.
When I’m not behind the camera, I live slowly and intentionally, spending as much time as possible outdoors—rain, hail, or shine.
I photographed my first wedding in 2018 and I have not looked back.
I would consider my photographing style as simply organic, documentary and unscripted.
To me, photography is not about posing or perfection - it’s about presence.
It’s about the quiet smiles, noticing the subtle shifts in body language, the glances that speak volumes and the tear that escapes down a cheek when words are not enough.
The unspoken connection between people.
I capture what’s real: the raw, the joyful, the tender, the chaotic, and the in-between.
Storytelling, it doesn’t just stop when the camera turns off.
It extends deep into the post production. I choose human touch, every time.
Each image is individually curated and hand-edited—never outsourced, never batch processed.
To preserve the authenticity and soul - there is no batch editing of your heirlooms and certainly no artificial intelligence.
Just my hands, my eyes, and my heart.
You can rest assure that your images are not being sent overseas to be edited, they are in trusted hands. Right in my own studio.
You can’t take out the human element in art.
We’ll spend a relaxed day together, and I’ll be there to gently guide you when needed—no awkward poses, just real moments, frozen in time.
Jess
